What Will you Receive?
- Certified Energy Advisor will run a blower door test to find drafts in your home
- Get 3–4 hours of targeted air sealing (windows, doors, attic hatches, vents, outlets + more)
- Receive personalized coaching + a written report with results & recommendations

Air leakage accounts for approximately 20 to 30 percent of heat loss in your home. The District of Squamish has partnered with the Community Energy Association (CEA), Youth Climate Corps BC (YCCBC), and Sitka Home Energy Solutions to offer free home energy assessments and basic air sealing services to households across Squamish.
Air sealing is a quick and effective way to improve your home’s energy efficiency. It involves identifying and sealing the areas where air leaks in and out of your home. Improving your home’s airtightness can enhance comfort, reduce drafts, and lower heating and cooling costs, while also supporting Squamish’s climate action goals.
The program runs from June to August 2026, Monday to Wednesdays (accommodating your preferences).
