Retrofit Assist
One-on-one assistance for homeowners with their home energy retrofit projects and rebate programs.
Retrofit Assist provides support all the way from “interested” to “installed.”
Participants in the program have the opportunity to work with a team of in-house experts who guide them along their retrofit journey. This includes connections to professional energy advisors and contractors who specialize in air sealing, insulation, windows and doors, HVAC, and more.
Our team of experts can also work with homeowners to understand and access financing and navigate rebate and incentive programs. This removes barriers to important retrofit work and maximizes savings.
Retrofit Assist Communities
Communities that implement Retrofit Assist receive a strategic, customized service designed to meet their specific needs and objectives and are supported by a partnership based on transparency.
Retrofit Assist launched in 2022 in Rossland, Squamish and Whistler and expanded to Kamloops and the East Kootenays in 2024.
Retrofit Assist is a program of the BC-based charitable non-profit organization, Community Energy Association, and is administered in collaboration with partner communities.
