What is a heat pump?

Heat pumps are a well-established, extremely efficient way to cool (and heat) your home.

Much like an air conditioner, heat pumps capture and move warm air. In the summer, they are removing warm air from your home and expelling it outdoors.

Unlike an air conditioner, a heat pump can reverse this process in the winter. Even when it’s really cold, heat pumps capture ambient heat from outside air and move it to inside your home.
