The expertise and guidance an Energy Advisor provides through an EnerGuide Evaluation can help ensure energy efficiency upgrades maximize the value of the money spent and deliver the best possible results for long-term savings and comfort.
Recognizing this step, while critical, is also a financial investment, Retrofit Assist is now able to apply a significant subsidy for new participants. An EnerGuide Evaluation with a dedicated, registered Energy Advisor now costs only $99 (plus tax) which is over $500 in savings.
As the first step in any energy efficiency journey, homeowners will have clear information about how their home uses and loses energy now. Then, after projects are complete, they can see the impact of their energy upgrades – on average, homes become 30% more energy efficient. This means heated and cooled air stays inside the home, saving money and making spaces less drafty.
